At SJM Retaining Walls we build structurally strong walls that are also an aesthetically pleasing addition to your property.
We have more than 18 years of experience in building retaining walls.

Certain retaining walls will need an engineers design depending on height of wall construction. We can put you in contact with the engineer we regularly work with if this is needed. We build Tongue and groove, half rounds and crib walls.
We are based in Christchurch and service the greater Canterbury area.

Shane was employed by us to install a large cut off drain behind our house to capture subsurface tunnel gullying. There were specific structural and geotechnical engineering requirements for the construction and install of the drain. Shane did a fantastic job and and communicated really well. The engineers commented on the great quality of the work. I would recommend Shane's work to anyone.
